Chip Reese

David Edward Reese, commonly referred to as Chip Reese, is an American poker player who has the best record regarding poker winnings throughout the history of poker. He managed to win three bracelets at the World Series in the following amounts: a 1978 Seven-Card Stud worth nineteen thousand two hundred dollars, a 1982 Limit 7card stud amounting to ninety-two thousand five hundred dollars and a 2006 HORSE Championship that was worth one point seven million dollars. He also made it to the last round of World poker tour at one point, and his total earnings in the game exceed three point five million dollars. In 1991, he got inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame, getting to be the youngest player to receive such an honor. His exceptional contributions to the poker championships live on, long after his death in 2007.


Doyle Brunson

Doyle got nicknamed the Texas Dolly, and he spent at least five decades of his life playing poker games. He got to be the first player to walk away with one million dollars in a poker tournament. His efforts in the game saw him win ten bracelets in the World Series of Poker events and he won twice in the Highest ITM Main Event finish. Only three players have consecutively won the Main Event, and he is one of the three. His earnings in live tournaments exceed six million dollars, and he got inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame in the year 1988.

Stu Ungar

He was a jack of all trades, playing all sorts of casino games ranging from gin rummy to blackjack to poker. Stu is one of the best Texas Hold’em players of all time, and he is the only player who has won the Amarillo Slim’s Poker super bowl three times. He is also one of the three players who has won the World Series of Poker main event consecutively, having defeated Doyle Brunson for the title in 1980. He got inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame in the year 2001.


Phil Ivey

This all-around poker player is so talented that he earned himself the title of ‘The Phenom,' having won three bracelets at the World Series of Poker tournament in 2002. In his career, Phil managed to win ten bracelets in the World Series of Poker tournaments as well as a World Poker Tour title. He also made it to the World Poker Tour table in the final round nine times. At thirty-six years, Phil had made it to the final round in the World Series of Poker a total of thirty-one times. He owns two companies: Ivey Poker and Ivey League. Johnny Moss

His career picked up in the 1970s when poker was just beginning to peak. Johnny started gambling while he was still a young boy and he won the Poker World Series three times, including his consecutive wins in the years 1970 and 1971, when the finale was more like a movie scene with all the drama. By a vote of his peers at one time, he got to be the inaugural winner of the Poker World Series in 1970. Having won nine poker bracelets in the Poker World Series, he got ranked fourth falling behind Phil Hellmuth, Johnny Chan, and Doyle Brunson. He earned the name ‘The Grand Old Man of Poker’ and got his name inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame in 1979.

Erik Seidel

Erik started out playing backgammon tournaments then the stock market before he moved on to Poker. He got to win eight bracelets at the World Series of Poker, and he made it to the last round at the table a total of thirty-five times. Seidel won the championship once, and his earnings from his plays exceed twenty million dollars. He made four million of those dollars in the World Series of Poker events, and this got him at the second position in the World Series of Poker list.


Daniel Negreanu

This Canadian player has total prize earnings which amount to over twenty-nine million dollars, making him the best live tournament poker players in the world. With six bracelets in the World Series of Poker events and thirty-one appearances at the final table, he has made a name for himself in the Poker world.
